Linpeccin

Description

Linpeccin is a combination of Lincomycin and Spectinomycin which generate excellent effect at respiratory diseases by power synergism of complex prescription. Linpeccin has high bioavailability in body and quick action by rapid absorption. Linpeccin is indicated for the treatment of a variety of Respiratory, Enteric and other infections in poultry.

Mode of action

Lincomycin binds to the 50s subunit of the bacterial ribosome resulting the inhibition of protein synthesis and thereby produces bactericidal effects in susceptible organism. Spectinomycin exerts its bacterostatic effect by binding to the 30s subunit of bacterial ribosome and inhibiting the translation of protein synthesis.

Composition

Each 100 g powder contains:

Lincomycin Hydrochloride 2.2 g (Activity)
Spectinomycin Sulfate 2.2 g (Activity)
Excipients q.s. to 100 g

Indication

Poultry:
♦ For prevention and treatment of Respiratory diseases like CRD, CCRD, Air sacculitis associated with Mycoplasma and Coliform infections of growing 
   chickens
♦ Secondary bacterial infection in case of viral diseases
♦ For the control of Necrotic Enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens

Dosage & Administration

Prevention:

Through drinking water: 1 g / liter drinking water for 3-5 days in the starter and re-administer at 4 weeks old or vaccination time for 1-2 days.
Through feed: 2 g / Kg feed for 5 -7 consecutive days.

Treatment:

Through drinking water: 2 g /liter drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.
Through feed: 4 g / Kg feed for 5 -7 consecutive days.

Withdrawal Period

Poultry 1 day.

Acivet Cipro® 20% (Vet)

Composition

Each 100 g powder contains:
Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride USP 22.20 g equivalent to 20 g Ciprofloxacin

Indications

Acivet Cipro® 20% Oral Powder effective against most of the Bacterial & Mycoplasmal diseases like C.R.D., Mycoplasmosis, Salmonellosis, Colibacillosis, Pasteurellosis, Infectious Coryza, Necrotic Enteritis, Staphylococcosis and secondary bacterial Infections in case of viral diseases (like Gumboro, Ranikhet etc.)

Dosage & Administration

Ciprofloxacin is normally used at the rate of 5-15 mg/kg body weight.

Prevention: 1 g per 8 liters of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.
Treatment: 1 g per 2-4 liters of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.

“Use only advised by the registered veterinarian” and “should not be used above the recommended dosage”.

Indications

For the treatment of respiratory diseases caused by following microorganism which are sensitive to Tilmicosin.

Mycoplasmosis caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae etc.

CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease) and CCRD (Complex Chronic Respiratory Disease)

Dosage & Administration

Poultry : Dilute at the rate of 0.3ml of the product (75mg as tilmicosin) in 1L of drinking water and administer for 3-5 consecutive days.

Drug withdrawal period

10 days.

Contraindications

Do not use with lincosamide and macrolide antibiotics.

Indications/Uses

Treatment: 1 gm powder per 2 litres of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.
Prevention: 1 gm powder per 4 litres of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.

Levofloxacin Hemihydrate USP 10.25 g equivalent to 10 g Levofloxacin.

Indications

For the treatment of diseases in poultry like CRD, CCRD, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Infectious Coryza, Dermatitis, Ascites & Gout including other infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.

Dosage & Administration

For treatment : 1 g per 2 liters of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.

For prevention : 1 g per 4 liters of drinking water for 3-5 consecutive days.

Egg & Meat : 7 days.
