Sel-E® (Vet) Oral Solution

Composition

Each ml solution contains:

Vitamin E                      BP   100 mg

Sodium Selenite           BP    0.5 mg

In General

Vitamin E or Selenium deficiency in poultry and farm animals. Prevention and treatment of muscular dystrophy (White Muscle Disease, Stiff Lamb Disease) in poultry, cattle, sheep and goats encephalomalacia, exudative diathesis, decreased egg production and decreased hatchability of eggs in poultry. 

Action

Vitamin E: Antioxidant, preventing or slow down formation of free radicals and hyper-per oxides from poly-unsaturated fatty acids.

This decrease in peroxide formation has a stabilizing effect on cell membranes containing poly-unsaturated fatty acids.

Selenium: Trace elements, reducing tissue peroxides and stimulating immunity response. Interaction with Vitamin E is sometimes synergistic, sometimes partially substitutive.

Dosage & Administration

Poultry:

Prevention: Sel-E ® Vet 1 ml per 4 litres of drinking water for 5-10 days.

Treatment: Sel-E ® Vet 1 ml per 2 litres of drinking water for 5 days.

Cattle & Buffalo: Sel-E ® Vet 1-2 ml per 10 kg body weight for 5-10 days.

Precautions for use

Once the product is mixed, it must be administered within the mext 24 hours. Do not administer by parenteral route (Injectable).

Keep the product out of the reach of children.

Storage

Store in a cool & dry place protected from light. Keep out of the reach of children.

Catopan® Vet Injection

Composition

Each ml contains-

Butaphosphan          INN           100 mg

Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) BP 0.05 mg

Mode Of Action

The active ingredients of Catopan (vet) Inj. Butaphosphan, is a substance with organic phosphorus. The ingredient penetrates rapidly and deeply into each tissue in the body and then it helps normal metabolism by rapidly converting the nutrients to the metabolic energy via activating various enzymes. Furthermore, Catopan (vet) Inj. Shortens the period required for recovering from many diseases.

Indications

Animal -

Increase muscular performances in animals kept for fattening, breeding and other purposes.

Metabolic disorders in case of malnutrition, inadequate management care of diseased conditions.

Tonic in case of weakness, secondary anemia & exertion.

Roborant in case of stress, over exertion and reduced resistant to healthy animals.

Tetany and paresis in addition to Ca & Mg therapy.

Disorders in growth and nutrition of young animals due to disease in early life.

Metaphylaxis of infertility, to support treatment of infertility.

 

Poultry -

Rapid growth in broiler, boost resistance in stress condition, preventing cannibalism and increase egg production.

Dosage & Administration

Cattle, Buffaloes, Horse:     5-10 ml
Calf, Sheep, Goat :                 1-3 ml
Dog, Cat :                                 1-3 ml

Administration by i/m or s/c route. The dose should be repeated at intervals of 2-3 days until recovery.

Composition

Each ml solution contains

Toldimfos Sodium BP 200 mg

Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12)

BP 50 mcg

Indications

Acitol B12 is indicated for the prevention and treatemnt of metabolic and nutritional disorders, weakness, fatigue, lactation tetany, grass tetany, post parturiant paresis and dystocia in large Animals.

For young Animal it helps to remove weakness, debitlity, rickets, osteomalacia and also helps in hone formation and healing.

Dosage & Administration

Cattle, Buffaloes, Horses: 5-10 ml, Calf, Sheep, Goat: 1-3 ml, Dog, Cat: 1-3 ml>

Storage

Store in a cool (below 250C) & dry place, protect from light. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Calcivit Plus® Injection

Composition

Each 100 ml contains :

Calcium gluconate BP         20.8 gm

Boric acid BP                       4.2 gm

Magnesium hypophosphite  5 gm

Dextrose monohydrate BP   22 gm

Indications

Milk fever, Hypocalcaemia, Hypomagnesemia, Muscular weakness and Ketosis, Increase milk production, Lactation tetany.

Dosage & Administration

Cattle & Buffaloes: 100-350 ml per animal intravenously on the basis of body weight and requirements.

Sheep & Goat: 25-50 ml per animal intravenously.

The dosage may be repeated if necessary

Precaution

Before intravenous injection the solution should be warmed to body temperature by placing in a waterbath. The preparation must be given slowly to prevent circulatory shock.

Besides milk fever in other fever due to infections, penicillin should not be given within 3 days after Calcivit Plus injection.

Acivit-ADE (Vet) Injection

Composition

Vitamin A Propionate (2.5Mil IU/g) BP 20.00g (eqv. to 500,00000 IU) + Vitamin D3 (1.0Mil IU/g) BP 7.50 g (eqv. to 7500000 IU) +Vitamin E Acetate BP 5.00 g/100 ml.

Indications/Uses

Effective for the prevention and treatment of fat soluble vitamin deficiency. Increase the immunity system. Treat for infertility due to lack of nutritions. Used in case of calcium deficiency in bone and teeth, Fatigue, Increase milk production.

Dosage

Cattle, Horse and Buffaloes: 5 ml.
Calf, Sheep and Goat: 0.5-2 ml
Dog and Cat: 0.5-1 ml Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection and repeat administration in 5-10 days or as directed by registered veterinarian.
